The Fourth of July has always been one of my most favorite holidays.
When me and Eli were younger, we always sat by each other at the river for the fireworks.
We always start the day off by going to the parade.
This year we met up with Eli's family and sat on 4th street.
Remington liked it all for the most part except for when the big trucks would honk their horns.
My little sister Dani was on the BHS Cheer float. She looked so cute and did a really good job!
She makes a way cute cheerleader!
Here is little Remi all ready for the parade to start!
Here is me and Eli waiting for the parade to start!
After the Parade, we went to Eli's parents for a BBQ.
The kids swam and we all enjoyed the wonderful weather!
Here is the awesome cake that I made!!
It turned out awesome and super YUMMY!
After the BBQ, we just relaxed at home and Eli made some of his jalepeno poppers for my Grandma Mallard's BBQ. We stopped by the temple and said hello to my dad because he had to work all day and night. At Grandma's we had a delicious BBQ again and then me, Eli, and Remi walked down to the river.
We had a fat boy ice cream sandwich and snowcones while we walked around and talked.
My camera died, of course, so this is the only pic we got at the fireworks!
We laid a blanket down on the road right before the show started!
As always, it was AMAZING! Remi LOVED it! She couldn't stop staring.
I tried to feed her her bottle, but she was so mesmerized by the fireworks that it was hard for her to finish her bottle! :)
I am really so proud to be an American and enjoy ALL of the amazing freedoms that we have.
We are so blessed to live in this nation.
God Bless America!!
