3 Months Old

On July 26th, Remington turned 3 months old!!

I can't believe how much she has learned to do in the last month! '

She loves her toys that light up and play music. She loves when Eli and I read to her. Her favorite books are pop up books. She starts to wiggle and smile every page turn. A little after her two month birthday, we put Remington in to her own crib in her own room. It was so hard for me at first, but she has been sleeping like a champ!! She started out sleeping from about 9-5 or 6. The last four nights she has slept from 9:30-7!

She is really learning what her hands are. She is getting so good at grabbing and reaching for toys. She likes to grab and suck on her shirt and blanket. Today she started sucking on her fingers again. She also is very good at holding her head up. When she is on her stomach or back, she rolls about half way over. Shouldn't be long and she should be able to roll all the way. This month she also had her first real belly laugh. My parents dogs were twirling on their hind legs and that gave her the giggles. Then I started playing peek a boo and that made her laugh hard for a good 30 seconds.

At her 3 month check up, she weighed 13 lbs. 3 ounces and was 23 inches long.

She is so healthy and smiley! I love how she smiles and kicks when I got to get her in the mornings.

We are so happy and feel so blessed that we have Remi in our family!
