Olaf and FHE

We made "Olaf" today with all of the snow that we got!!!
Remi was excited at first, but then quickly lost interest when she realized how yummy the snow was!

We had to replace his nose a few times because our dog Barney thought the carrot was tasty!

Remi really loves to help me bake!
Here she is "stiring" the ingredients together ;)
I love how much fun we have in the kitchen together.
She can push the chair over to the counter all by herself now!

FHE lesson and orange julius the other day!!
It was super yummy. Remi loved it!

We talked about our family and Remi helped color and glue a little family tree together!

Here are a few random pics or my silly girl

Day of love

We had such a fun Valentine's Day this year with our little Remi!
The day before, I was able to do a mini photoshoot with her. My sister Dani was there to help me
wrangle this wiggle worm, and we got a lot of really cute shots of her!

On day of love, before Eli went to work, we had a delicious breakfast of heart shaped bacon, pancakes, and eggs! I didn't get any pictures of those though. Maybe next year they'll turn out better. ;)
While daddy was at work, me and Remi decorated valentines for friends and family and made
a strawberry heart shaped cake!

Baking and cooking together has become one of our favorite things to do together lately.
Remi loves to help dump all the ingredients, and she likes to stir it all together longer than it probably needs.
Whenever we make muffins, cakemixes etc., I catch Remi sticking her little hand in and saying "mmmmmm!!"

Remi's church outfit a few days before Valentines day.

My awesome sister Dani babysat for us so we could go on a little date!
We were going to go to Olive Garden but the wait was 95 minutes!! (not surprising at all)
So we had a back up plan, and we went to the Great Wall and had delicious stir fry, our favorite!
After wards we went to Harbor Freight to get some tools for our kitchen. (we were redoing our counter tops the next day.) So romantic, I know. But it really is nice to go to a store with our a 2 year old running in every which way!

Before we left, we set out sprinkles and frosting so that Dani and Remi could decorate her cake while we were gone! Dani said Remi insisted on doing it all by herself, of course, and would hold the sprinkles in one spot for a very long time. Yum! :)
They had pizza and pop for their valentines dinner as well.

I seriosuly can't believe how big my little girl is getting!
She is so much fun to be around.
I wish I would've kept up on a month to month blog post about her and her activites, but such is life!
I will take a minute now to tell you about some things she has been up to!
Remi is so independent and strong willed.
She is obsessed with her binky and blanket more than ever now. (I know, uh oh...)
On January 25th, she slept in her big girl bed for the first time.
We started with a morning nap in it, and she slept right away.
The night time was just as good, and ever since she is doing great.
She is a really good eater!
Pancakes, all fruits, green beans and corn, smoothies, PB&J sandwiches, tuna fish,
princess fruit snack :), cheese and crackers, tomato soup, you name it and she'll pretty much eat it!
Remi talks a lot now!! She is good with remembering names of family and most friends.
She LOVES the movie frozen and insists on her hair being done like Elsa or Ana every day.
She knows all the names of the princesses, loves to dress up, and loves babies an barbies.
A TOTAL girl and I love it!

She is so loving and loves to rub my cheeks and kiss me and squeeze me all of the time.
She touches my belly and tells me "Bebe, out!!"
She also kicked my stomach hard on accident during a diaper change one day, and now she says
"no kick be be k!" It's so cute and funny!
This winter we went to Blast off a couple of times and like to go to an open gym for preschoolers at the rec center downtown. Remi loves it and so do I!
We also love our weekly trips to the library and reading every day!
We like to color and play uno together. Remi always wins some how... ;)
She was very interested in her potty and was doing so well.
We have somehow back tracked to not being as interested, but we are working on it and hopefully we'll get there before baby #2 arrives!
She is loving Nursery and I can leave her in there for almost the whole thing now!
She sings and dances at church during the hymns, and she says her own little sweet prayers at night blessing everything in her room and then some. ;)
There are so many silly things that Remi says and does.
I have been behind on blogging, but have promised myself to be on top of it now so I can record these fun memories day by day!

I can't believe how big she is getting! She is not my baby anymore, and I have such a hard time with that!
I love this stage of life that we are in though. I love interacting with her and playing and laughing.
She is such a sweet spirit and I am thankful I get to be her mommy!!
Love you Remi Jo.
