Random activities of summer... picture OVER LOAD!

I am BEYOND BEHIND with my family blog.
Time to catch up starting with the rest of our summer adventures. This is going to be a picture overload, but we had such a great summer and so many fun things went on!

Eli did a ton of fishing this summer. One of their trips gave me a little scare though! They only went 20 minutes away to float the river. It wasn't a very long float, so he said he would be home well before dark. Well, 9:30 rolls around and I start freaking out! He was with Jerry and Justin, and Jerry had called and told Beau, be worried if we don't get home by 9:30. 10 pm rolls around now and I have been calling Eli over and over! Finally he answers, out of breath, and says that he just hiked up the hill to get service. He needed someone to come and get him. They parked one truck at the end and then the other one was left at the beginning. Well, turns out that they left the keys in the truck at the beginning and had no way to get home! So anyways, Beau saved them and went and picked them up.
What adventures they always have! :)

Fishing at Blacktail! They were delicious!

We had a great time visiting our families on Father's day. I made these little suits for each of our dad's and one for Eli with their favorite treats inside. I think about how great the influence my dad has been on my life and how blessed I am to have grown up with a dad that taught me right from wrong, to never ever quit, and to love the lord always. I am thankful for Eli's dad and for all that he has taught Eli about being a hard worker, to be honest, and how to serve the lord. He taught Eli by example and now Eli is such an amazing dad to our sweet little girl. I am thankful for all three of them in our lives.

Having Chocolate pudding for the first time! It's as if she placed that uni brown on purpose.

Eli and Remigton taking a dip in the pool on a hot summer night! We had so much fun with this pool!! Remi thinks its the coolest thing. She always asked to play in it by saying "bath, mama, bath!"

Here is Remi and Chloe watching some cartoons with a cold sippy! I am so thankful she has so many cousins around here and that they all get to be together. I hope they are all the best of friends forever! I know my cousin my age is my very best friend!

Remington and Mommy after Remi's bubble bath. Man, we are enjoying this new home SO much!

Me and Remi at the annual johnson reunion! Eli was coming home from the 50 miler that day. He had been gone for 6 days (the longest we've been apart since his mission!) and I couldn't wait to see him. I felt so giddy when he called me to say he was on his way home.
Almost as giddy as when I would talk to him on Christmas during his mission ha ha!

I signed up to run the Iona day's 5k with me mom and sisters, Katie and Livvy, back in July. It was the first 5k race I had ran since cross country in high school!
I felt really good starting out and even kept up with my sister (she had just graduated) up until the 2nd mile! Then I decided to let her beat me ;)
I ended up getting 1st in my age division and 26th out of all 106 people there! It felt so good to run again. I definitely want to do it more, I absolutely love to run!

This summer we also got a sweet new husky puppy named Gunnar! He is the cuddliest thing ever. He is now bigger than Barney, and still wants to cuddle! I love him.

Eli let me ride in the cart with Remi at Target. I was too tired to walk. Remi thought it was pretty cool!

Woke up to this little goodie on the fridge one morning.

My mom helped me weed my garden and flower beds SO much! It was fun to help her get her garden spot ready. Remi was fearless and wanted to pick up every worm that she saw!

Picking and canning with my sisters!! 57 cans of apple pie filling. YES PLEASE!

Our dog and cat are cute and cuddle.

We won some tickets to paramount from star 98! This was a big deal, people. I never win anything!

Going to the park! That was one of her favorite things to do this summer!

Mommy daughter date to Dickey's BBQ. We love the self serve ice cream!

We had fun playing in the water all summer long! I love the little tan lines that Remi got. She wanted to be outside all day everyday!

Riding the carousel in Rexburg. She didn't love it.
She kept saying, all done, all done in sign language!

These pictures were just a few days before she gave up the bottle completely!
I took it away (she was only having one or two a day anyway) and she never even asked about it!
She was about 15 months.

Remi is so beautiful! I love her silly personality and the funny things she is always doing!
I used to take pictures each month and describe how she had grow and what she was doing. I get so sad that I didn't keep doing that, but have tried to keep track of some silly things she has done over the last few months or so!
-wraps bras around neck
- brushes teeth pretty good by herself
-lifts shirt and puts on deodorant
-attached to my little sister Livvy and wants to be just like her
-girly with make up and jewlery,

Eli goes on the 50 miler!!!

Ever since Eli was a really little boy, he has had the opportunity to go on the 50 miler, at the White Clouds, with his dad. He hasn't been able to go since he got home from his mission/ we got married due to his jobs.
Well he actually has paid vacation at Best Buy now so he was able to take the entire week off!

He left bright and early Monday morning, and they got back on Saturday night late.
I will admit that is was not easy having him come that long (and no cell service whatsoever!)

I definitely missed him way too much and was like a little girl when he finally called me on Saturday!

Eli and his dad!

And of course, the week that Eli is gone the entire week, Remington gets a DOUBLE ear infection. (she's never even had one before!) The poor thing was in so so much pain. She would just scream non stop, and so on Wednesday I took her in and sure enough she was not ok!

The night before she slept in bed with me, and was so lethargic, pale skin, cold sweats, and a horrible fever! I was so nervous and didn't know what to do! She seemed to love the idea of eating a popsicle, and that combined with some tylenol, her fever finally came down!

This is a couple days after being on antibiotics. They definitely helped out and I saw a complete change in her once she was on them for 24 hours!
I love this pictures so much, because even though she is so sick and sad, I absolutely loved that she cuddled on me and fell asleep.
That never happens, so I was taking advantage for sure!

Eli had the time of his life! He got beautiful pictures and some videos as well. He even made a video just for me showing a beautiful lake and saying how much it made him miss me. :) Awh haha.
He caught lots of fish and said he enjoyed being up in the mountains away from all of the distractions!

They went with the scouts and leaders from our ward.
He said that they ate like kings, played cards and capture the flag, and hiked 64 miles total in the week!

So glad my love got to do what he loves and enjoys!
But you better believe I have never been happier to see him in my whole life!

ReCOONion 2013!!!

WARNING! PICTURE OVERLOAD!
(and this isn't even half of them!)

Here is Remington the morning before we left...helping me pack her stuff!!

Wow! Where do I even begin with the Reunion this year. It was seriously such a blast! We had it up at Jerry's land past bone. It's beautiful up there, and there is so much room for everyone to explore and play!
We got there on Thursday night and set up out tent. Remington thought that the tent was seriously the coolest thing ever, and she didn't want to come out of it!

Sharla set up two different scavenger hunts for first the youngest kids, and then the older kids. We walked around the land to different clues. The kids prize at the end was their reunion shirt, some glow sticks and a couple of toys. When we found the treasure, Remington though it was so awesome! She grabbed her bag and pointed toward Eli because she wanted to show him! It was such a cute Idea.

We sat around the campfire that night and sang happy birthday to Dylan and Finley and had yummy smores. We brought out the guitars and played some silly games! It actually wasn't too cold that night. We had Remi's pack n play loaded with blankets for her plus we warmed up the tent before hand with our tent heater (score from DI!)

The next morning, we started the day off by rides in the train! Shar and Justin brought this up, and it was definitely a HIT! Savanah took Remington with her and Remi loved it.

Ready to ride! Hailey, Beth, Sav, and Remi!

All of the girls waiting for their turn!

Sharla also took all of us adult girls for a ride later on. Let's just say Sharla didn't exactly go the slowest haha and we almost fell off a couple time when we'd hit a bump! SO MUCH FUN! We even had Katie on there trying to get her into labor! :)

Later on that day we spray painted some marshmallow guns that Aunt Sharla brought everyone!
We played forever, just shooting marshmallow after marshmallow!

Didn't quite get the marshmallow coming out!

Love this picture of Dyl bug!!
It got pretty messy! We had the marshmallows covered in flour so
that you could see where you hit your target!

My cute hubby joining the kids and making his gun.

Grandpa Anderson even got in on the fun!! He was pretty sneaky!

The babies didn't even notice the marshmallow war. They were content to play in this car the ENTIRE time we were camping. I am not complaining one bit! It was pretty easy to keep track of them! :)
We ended up finding one in the Blackfoot thrift store that next week for Remi!

Sharla just kept surprising us with so many more fun things!
She planned a creek hike for the kids and dumped coins, pebbles, stones, action figures, bugs and so much more ALL over the creek for the kids to find! They spent the whole day searching for all of their treasures!
Remi thought it was so cool to find stuff in the water. She even thought the pennies might make a good treat... YIKES!

This water slide was SO MUCH FUN! (I keep saying that, but we seriously had such a blast.)
We smoothed the rocks as much as we could and let the kids have at it!
I tried it and lets say it wasn't as comfortable as I thought it would be, and I can't do things like that anymore! ha! Grandma Patsy sent Remi down to daddy and she loved it! She kept signing more more!

Me and baby girl!

Daddy and Remi looking for more treasures!

Somebody found an old calender where the cabin used to be...I had to snap a couple of pictures!
Seriously, Eli is such a stinking cute baby! No wonder Remi is so adorable ;)
I can really see her a lot in him!

Loving the hairstlye sistas!! You are all adorable. Chloe looks just like Everett!

Our kids seriosuly have the coolest grandma around!!
She taught the kids the "Book of Mormon Hauka" so that they could preform it for us! They all had war paint and book of mormons! It was seriously awesome!!

We had a couple of devotionals that I am really grateful for. Jerry challenged us to always be there for our family, to love them and stand by the. To lift them up and not drag them down by talking badly of others. It was so nice and really touched a lot of us.
I love my family that gets to be mine forever. They are the best!

Grandpa and Grandma Coon and all 28 of their grandkids! (only 27 here, sweet little Maverick wasn't born quite yet, but he was in Katie's belly :)

Actually not to dirty here, but this girl was a busy little woman, playing in the dirt, with cousins, with mom and dad and loving every second of it! She was not afraid to get dirty at all!

Ok so here comes my FAVORITE part!!!

Shar and Justin had the volleyball court all tilled up and ready for us to use it. We had about 16 adults that played! We played game after game until we couldn't see anymore!!! It was the highlight of the reunion I'd have to say. Lots of competitiveness going on as well as laughs and giggles as a few of us hit the ground hard! And of course...many short jokes about how Sav was as tall as the bottom of the net!
But don't worry, I showed you guys all up ;) hahah

SUCH A BLAST! SERIOUSLY!

That night we had delicious peach cobbler and gathered around the campfire again. We sang out of the camp song books and stayed up way too late talking and giggling and singing silly songs making fun of each other :)

The next morning, we had our family pictures in all of our recoonion shirts!
We took some funny pictures of guys and girls, and got a picture of all 8 siblings and mom and dad!

Allen makes me giggle.....

Again...Allen makes me giggle plus Christ and Ev!

Grandpa Anderson and his Coon grandkids!

The Whole Family together!

Sisters :)

Thank you Sharla and Justin for such a fun weekend! I loved all of the Delicious food, the fun games, laughs, volleyball, walks and hikes, and all of the memories made!
