7 MONTHS!

I just keep getting more and more behind on my blogging!!
Here is Remi's 7 month old picture.
At 7 months old, Remi was still sitting up very well on her own, but still not rolling!!
She started to eat her peas and carrots along with her sweet potatoes. So that was nice
to get a couple more veggies in to her diet!
She started to say mama and dada a lot!!
After a little while, she only said mama when she wanted a bottle!
Eli is pretty happy about this :)
She was still sleeping all the way through the night which is far more than amazing for mom and dad.
She is such a happy baby and is always smiling and laughing.
I can't believe how much she is picking up each and every day!
Love you Rem!

Halloween Stuff :)

I am SUPER behind on blogging, but here is a quick post from Halloween!!
We had fun as a family carving pumpkins! I loved having Remi feel the pumpkin guts!!
And... I am LOVING her bed head hair right here hehe.
We had lazy morning and wore our pj's while we carved!
Here is Remi and her pumpkin!!

I am not that good at carving, but here is Remi's!!
Baby's 1st :)

Mine was supposed to be a one eyed monster....
You can think what you want! haha...

Of course, Eli did Batman, and of course his is basically the best!
I love his!!

Daddy and Remi :)

Our cute little fairy!

Aunt Livvy and Remi were twinners.

A witch, batman, and a fairy!!
We went to two trunk or treats. We pushed Remi around in the stoller and you could say that Eli was the one tick or treating haha. Then we went to my family's and had sloppy joes!!

Eli and Remi sorting their candies!!

We had a GREAT Halloween and I had a GREAT birthday.
I got to sleep in and the woke up to eggs and toast in bed :)
Eli got my a tripod and some kinect games for my bday!

Then we hung out and home and took some family pictures!!
we had such a great day spending time with each other!

6 months old!

Yep, my little girl is actually 6 months old!
I remember a friend of ours had their 6 month old hanging out with us, and I was still pregnant with Remington. I remember thinking, wow, what will it be like when my daughter is that old?

Remington is getting so independent.
I think it drives her crazy sometimes that she can't exactly tell us what she wants.
She is FINALLY eating baby food! WHOO!
The day before her 6 month check up, she downed a whole can of applesauce.
She is still getting used to it, but she eats a lot of it now. I am so proud.
It is really cute to see her sitting up in her high chair, the carts in the store, or the high chairs in the restaurants  She loves being a big girl.

Remi still hasn't rolled, but she can get about 3/4 of the way over.
She is very good at going from a sitting position to her belly.
Her new favorite thing to do is suck on her lip, and it kind of sounds like she is beat boxing, just like her dad!
The other day, she was sitting playing toys, and she reached down, got the remote, and held it to to TV.
I don't' know if this is a good thing or a bad thing...
I really don't watch must TV though so I think it just means she is very smart for her age... :)
She is getting more and more talkative everyday! She loves primary, especially singing time.
She likes to sing along with me whenever I sing to her as well.
She laughs at every thing! It is probably the cutest thing ever  to see what she finds completely hilarious.
The two things that made her laugh the hardest lately is when my sisters were throwing little stuffed animals at the ceiling fan. Sometimes she would start laughing before they even threw it!
Another thing is when ever I put a stuffed animal on my head and tip it over on to her. She laughs SO hard!
She is so good at picking things up with her hand (wants to eat EVERYTHING!) and is very good at sitting up by herself.
At her 6 month check up, she weighed 17 pounds and 14 ounces.
She is now 25 inches long.
Still in the 75th for weight and the 25th for height. Taking after her mama!
I love this little stinker so much!
Happy 6 months Remi!!

Scrap retreat and Sunday drive.

I am getting slightly behind on our blog, so here comes some catch up post + a lot of pictures!!

At the beginning of October, Me and Remington hitched a ride, with my sister in law Kailey and her daughter Chloe, to the bi-annual Scrap Retreat down in Preston.
We had so much fun. Staying up late, laughing, eating, crafting, scraping, "your face jokes", and hot tubbin'!
The Fall colors were absolutely GORGE, and so I did a little mini-sesh with my baby doll!

Remi was playing around while I was getting all of our stuff packed.

Basically, she is the cutest baby, EVER! ;)
I love when she is in her little hooded towel.
She loves bath time.

Waiting for Kailey and Chloe to pick us up!

Pretty sunset on our way to Preston, Idaho.

We got to the retreat and set up all of the tables and chairs.
We picked out our room and then we ate some Papa Murphy's Pizza!!
We were all so delirious while playing phase 10 and watching "What happens in Vegas."
I think I laughed at part that weren't even meant to be funny..

The next day, we went in to the Preston D.I., of course!
At first I didn't think that we would find anything worth buying, but the more we looked around, the more things we found. Books and clothes mostly!

We spent the rest of the weekend crafting and scraping away!
We ate some very delicious meals and had some great conversations.
Many memories were definitely made!

A few weeks ago, Eli and I took our usual Sunday drive!
I enjoy this time with him and Remington very much!
We saw a lot of deer just like we always do!
This herd was pretty close to the road.

Here is a different herd of deer.
They were right in the middle of the road and then ran up on to the hill side.

Beautiful view!

This would have to be my very favorite picture yet! (That I have taken on our drives.)
Eli said a good title for this one would be "For the beauty of the Earth."
I couldn't agree more.

He is just so cute.
Especially when he gets all giddy like a little boy when he spots some deer. :)

Little piggies on the road side!! They were rubbing their snouts in the dirt all crazy like!

Just had to post this!
I was trying out one of my new lenses that Eli got me along with my camera.
She is just so beautiful!

And then here are the pictures I took up in Preston while we were at the retreat!
The colors are beautiful. Remi was quite fascinated with the leaves!

CoNfErEnCe WeEkEnD

We had such a great conference weekend!
We had some delish french toast and got ready to watch!!
Eli had to work on Saturday :( but he got to go to the priesthood session at least!

I love the feeling that conference brings into our home.
I could not even believe the change in missionary age.
It really builds my testimony on the importance of missionary work in our church.
The Lord knows what needs to be done right now and this change is going to help a lot.

I love to listen to our prophets and apostles.
I was so emotional the entire time! I just kept tearing up as they would speak.
Every time they talked about family, I would just look at my beautiful daughter and wonderful husband and I was overwhelmed with the spirit. I kept looking at Remi and thinking "She was JUST barely in the presence of our Father in Heaven. She was just there with him! She is so special, I can't believe I get to be her mother!"
The spirit also testified to me that we are not all here by chance.
Our Heavenly Father has a plan. He knows each of us individually, he knows what we need and what we can accomplish. I am so thankful for eternal families and knowing that even though some of us may stray for a while and loose our way, there is ALWAYS a way back to him.
He is not a mean God, but a loving and caring God that only wants us to come back to him because he LOVES us. His love is so pure and kind.
I am so thankful to have the technology that we have so that we can watch and listen to conference where ever we may be.
Remi was so cute during it. She sat on the floor and played toys and occasionally looked up and listened very intently to the speakers on the TV. The cutest part was when we all sang the songs and she just sang right a long with us! I know that she can feel the spirit that conference brought in to our home just like we did.
I am excited for the Ensign to come out with all of the talks.
Last conference I did very well at studying almost all of the talks when the Ensign came out.
I hope to do even better this time, and improve my life every day!
.
I am so thankful to be a member of this church.
I KNOW it.
I LIVE it.
I LOVE it
I am especially grateful to be able to feel my Savior's love when ever I am down or discouraged. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Remi key putting the measuring tape over here eyes LOL!

After the last session, we decided to go on a drive!
It was so beautiful and we saw a lot of animals! It is fun having my new camera to get some great shots of all of them!
Eli and I have decided that when the weather is nice, to try and go for a little hike or walk every Sunday with our kids and enjoy this beautiful land that we live in!

We drove down this lane and saw probably 30 deer and 2 moose!!
When we started the truck again to head home..,it was dead!
Luckily there was a nice farmer to jump us!

Isn't it beautiful?

My nerdy hunter husband :) :) All ready to go!
"We interrupt this marriage to bring you hunting season!"
So true ;)

Have a good day!
