5 MoNtHs OlD*

My baby is 5 MONTHS OLD!!! :(
She has grown up so much in the last month.
(I say that every month, but it's because babies change SO much in the first year of their life!)
Remi defintiely has a mind of her own already.
She adds so much spice to our family!

In the past month, she is smiling even more!! She is such a happy girl.
This month, she has finally started to eat cereal and baby food. I think the spoon is a little strange to her, but she is finally coming around to the idea.
This last month, I found two teeth poking through, just about ready to pop out! (her two top fangs)
She has also learned how to sit up very well. I still have to have a hand on her, but she is doing awesome! It is so cute to watch her sit and play toys.
Remi grabs EVERYTHING and ANYTHING she can get her little hands on.
And of course, everything goes straight to the mouth!
She gets frustrated when she can't fit the whole toy in.
She is sleeping through the night still. Usually from 8-7. Yep, it's amazing!
She is finally on a more consistent schedule for feeding. She eats about 6 ounces every 3-4 hours.
I am glad she is not eating every two anymore!
And her naps are pretty much the same time everyday!

Her new thing these last couple months has been quite hilarious.
One night I was feeding her, and all of a sudden she scrunched her nose up and just started to sniff over and over again. I was laughing SO hard!
She did this constantly for the next two days when ever she was hungry, tired, or excited.
Now she just does it when she is really really mad, tired, or excited.
Today I did it to her and she did it right back haha :)
Remi has the cutest laugh ever.
I love tickling her.
She loves our cat and dog. Whenever they walk by, she gasps so  loud and reaches for them. Both the cat and dog let her sit and grab their fur without any frustration.
Not very often will she cuddle in my arms anymore, but when she does, you better believe that I take advantage of it.
30 minutes goes by after she has fallen asleep, and I am still just holding her as tight as I can.
I don't want her to grow up...but I do at the same time. I am torn!
I love being a mom more that I can even describe. She keeps me busy, on my toes, and as tired as ever!
But I wouldn't have it any other way! Love you little bug!

FAIR TIME!

I always look forward to the fair every year.
I still remember we were driving down to Blackfoot when I was about 6 months pregnant. We drove by the fairgrounds and I told Eli how fun it will be to walk the stroller around the fair with Remington that year.
It really was so much fun, and she was such a good baby.
We started in the animals. It was fun to take Remi out and show her the animals up close. She loved it.

I LOVE this picture. I love these two so much! I can't even explain how amazing it has been to have our first child together. It has brought us so much closer. Eli is the cutest dad in the world.
She may be a mama's girl, but she sure loves her daddy. I think she is looking more and more like him everyday!

Looking at the piggies with daddy!!

We went over and watched the dog show. At the end of the show, The man asked, "What is the best dog breed of all time?" A couple of people replied, "Golder Retriever, Border Collie." So Eli raises his hand and when the guy calls on him, he yells out, "MY DOG. My dog is the the best breed!"
The guy told Eli he won because anyone who has the guts to say his dog deserves to win the prize.
So anyways he got a frisbee and a "poopy doggy" kechain. :)

My awesome mother in law!!

Silly girl on the ride home!
,

We had SUCH a good time! We ate too much food, watched the hypnotist and Idaho Idol, we hung out in the Kirby booth with our awesome fam, I signed up for Avon, and we walked around all the booths!

I can't explain how happy I am that we are now a family of three and the Remi gets to do all of these things with us!

Catch up on summer 2012

We have had such an amazing summer as a family of three. It has been fun watching Remington in each new stage. This is kinda of a picture overload, but here is the rest of our summer in a nutshell!

Family picture out at my aunt's house when my mom's dad was visiting from Texas.

Grandpa Mallard and Remi holding a pea from the garden. These two look SO much alike.

Remi and Grandma Mallard

My Grandpa Mallard-- Love him a lot.

Eli's truck broke down a couple months ago, and My Grandpa and his twin brother David were so awesome! They helped us get the part and all three of them put it in. Notice Grandpa Mallard under the tree? Ya, he was supervising...;)

Remington Jo Coon

Eli and I love to play scrabble. It was a nice evening so we decided to set it up outside and play!

Remington sleeps like this EVERY night and day. It is so adorable. It's getting chilly at night and so when I got to put a blanket on her legs, she kicks and kicks until it is off. Picky little stinker!

Lazy days this summer consisted of Dr. Pepper, English chocolate, and Storage Wars with my hubs. Great times just being together, even if we are hardly doing anything!

This picture cracks me up every time I see it! Cute little pony tail and her tongue sticking out. This little girl has the cutest personality already.

Annual Johnson Reunion! TONS of yummy food and HOMEADE rootbeer!! Too bad Eli was working this year, but Remi and I still went with my family. Here is Remi trying on Grandpa Mallard's sunglasses. Lookin all cool and such... :)

Yes, I am quite spoiled by my sweet hubby!!
We picked this AWESOME dirt bike up at a yard sale for...drumroll please...
$300!!
Steal of a deal ;)
Now we both have one so we can go riding together. Can't even wait!

My entire world right here in this picture!
I think she is starting to look a lot like her daddy.
He can definitely make her smile and laugh more than anyone!

Lately, Remi insists on helping me feed her.

Had so much fun when Beau, Bonnie, and their kids came to visit!
We went to Rigby lake, and here are a couple pics of the cute babies!

Remi and Scarlett

Cute Chole!
It is so much fun that there are so many baby girls the same age!

My sister Dani turned 15 years old!!
So weird how fast all of my sisters have grown up! We have had so much fun living right by our familes this summer. It has been such a blessing!

<3 Baby girl hanging out with Mom and Dad.

Cute little jeggings!! How can you not want to love on this little stinker!

Remi eating Rice cereal! Yay!!
She loves it a lot. Still trying to get a hang of the spoon, but we are making progress.
She has also tried sweet potatoes, applesauce, peas, and bananas!

I can't even imagine not being a mommy now! It is the best thing in the whole world.

This pic makes me giggle. Remi is almost as big as Olivia.
Remi love Livvy so much. She is such a great baby sitter. We enjoy her coming over this summer and hanging out with us!!

For everyone that knows Eli, knows why this is definitely his daughter! Eli loves batman so much that we just couldn't resist getting these pj's for her. The size on these by the way is 24 months... Chubba lubba!! :)

I am so blessed to be able to stay home and play with this cutie all day everyday.
She is getting so big. I honestly can't believe it. I want time to SLOW DOWN!!

These two are basically twins when they are sleeping.
She was so fussy and wouldn't fall asleep in her crib, car seat, wouldn't eat or play.
She just wanted snuggle with her daddy.

But usually, she wants to eat and sleep in her carseat. She used to hate it haha!

I went to bathroom, and when I came out, I noticed her almost completely rolled over! Just couldn't get that arm out! But just yesterday she was able to roll completely. So proud of her.

Remi and daddy playing Call of Duty.
Nerds!!
(Notice Eli's tongue sticking out and her little smirk on her face lol)

Not very often does she fall asleep on my lap anymore.
So when she does, I take advantage.
I don't understand how that is even comfortable with her cheeks getting in the way!

We got to go on a date night with our great friends Katie and Josh Kunde.
We decided to go fishing, and we had a blast. We are so greatful to have such amazing friends and enjoy spending time with them!

Such a little card :)

We had such a great summer with our little family of three!
We got to do alot of fun things, and we were blessed more than we deserved.

Excited for fall season!
