Day trip to Cloward's

We decided to take advantage of the nice weather we were having this week.

We packed up the fourwheeler, camp chairs, fishing poles, and sack lunches, and headed up the hill.

We went to a little spot called Cloward's just 20 minutes from our home.

We spotted some deer as soon as we arrived and were unloading the fourwheeler.

It was pretty muddy up there, and so we could only go so far in the truck.

We packed us and our stuff in with the fourwheeler to a spot to have lunch.

We brought our cute dog Barney along with us, and boy was he in HEAVEN! 

He ran and ran the entire time we were there. 

Remi thought it was pretty neat too that we got to ride on the four wheeler and eat our lunches outside.

She was pretty unsure, but helped her daddy reel it in.

Once we got it in, she didn't want anything to do with it, ha ha!

Barney sat and stared at the water for minutes at a time, waiting for Eli to hook another fish!

He caught one!!!

Barney didn't try to bite the fish or anything, but he got really excited whenever we'd bring one it.

He'd get really close and give it a few licks!

We had such a good day as a family.

I really love spending time outdoors and am excited to share this love with Remi and our kids to come!
