One word could describe this little stinkers birthday, and that is SPOILED!!
But seriously, how can you not spoil some one as cute as her. :)
The night before her brithday, me and Eli had fun decorating the house for when she woke up.
We blew up a bag of balloons and put them in her room so that she would see them first thing when she woke up! (we did this last year and hope to continue each year!)
She was so excited to see them.
"Oh my balloons!!" she kept saying
Trying to blow them up :) |
This was Eli's cute idea. She said she was a princess when ever she would walk through it. She called it the princess door |
I think that I was more excited for remi to open her presents than she was!
I didn't want her to wait all day so we did it after her yummy pancake breakfast. (her absolute favorite!)
Here she is opening her new outfit and a new barbie doll.
I really love how sweet and grateful she is. She hugged her doll so tight and kept telling us thank you.
I snagged a sweet little kitchen on craigslist for $10 so of course she needed some play food to go with it!
"wowwww!" she kept saying :) She wanted to open it immediately! |
Favorite pic EVER!! She was so excited over everything that she got. Such a cutie! |
I decided to make a barbie cake for Remi this year.
Here are a few step by step pictures of how it went.
It is not the prettiest cake ever, but I had a lot of fun making it for her!
Ta-Dah!!! |
Helping me in the kitchen is one of Remi's favorite things!
She did good at stirring the batter and licking up LOTS of frosting.
And nope, I didn't stop her at all, it's her birthday and she can do what she wants! :)
She LOVED this pig. Best $1 I ever spent! |
After her nap time, we went and spent some time at Blast Off with Remi's cousins!
She had so much fun playing and didn't stop going the whole time we were there.
We played arcade games together this time and got some yummy candy and slinkie with her tickets that she won! When we were done at Blast Off, Me Eli and Remi went over to Pizza Pie Cafe and ate!
Later that night, my mom and sister's came over for cake and ice cream.
I had fun shopping and decorating for her. |
Boy did this girl love being the center of attention!
She was so happy and smiling from ear to ear!
She enjoyed her cake and ice cream and surprisingly crashed soon after.
It was a long, fun filled, busy day for this little cutie!
Grandma Mallard gave her a frozen poster and a baby and stroller. She was super happy with both!
The day after her birthday, I took Remi out and did a little photo shoot.
I may be biased, but I do believe she is the prettiest little 2 year old I have ever met.
She is so smart and can talk sentences to me all day long. Me and Eli joke about missing the days that she didn't talk 24/7 ;)
She loves to sing the Let it go song, she thinks its hilarious to call everyone Moo Cat heads, she is always saying miss you mommy and that she loves me, she is learning colors and some numbers. I love how she counts, "2, 1, 7, 3, 8." :)
She loves dolls, barbies, books and trips to the library. She is as girly as they come and wants to do her makeup, put on deodorant, and spray herself with perfume just like mommy in the morning.
She begs to go to church every day and absolutely loves nursery.
She loves to sing the songs she learns and can do pretty well at most of them by herself!
She is still a great eater and sleeper for us, no complaints there!
She loves to be outdoors and to get dirty.
I could go on an on forever about this cutie!

I cannot believe another year has gone by already. I know that time will not slow down, and so I am taking in every moment I have with this sweetheart.
Oh my goodness! I love everything about this post! The gifts, the gratitude, the princess door, the ADORABLE CAKE!!!! Sav, you are so talented. I don't care what you say, I think that Remi deserves it all!
ReplyDeleteIt really is the cutest little post! You are such a good mommy Sav! I remember being jealous of my friends birthday, because her mom made her a barbie cake. I think i cried for three days after her party even. Haha! She is the cutest!
