CoNfErEnCe WeEkEnD

We had such a great conference weekend! 

We had some delish french toast and got ready to watch!!

Eli had to work on Saturday :( but he got to go to the priesthood session at least!

I love the feeling that conference brings into our home. 

I could not even believe the change in missionary age. 

It really builds my testimony on the importance of missionary work in our church.

The Lord knows what needs to be done right now and this change is going to help a lot.

I love to listen to our prophets and apostles. 

I was so emotional the entire time! I just kept tearing up as they would speak.

Every time they talked about family, I would just look at my beautiful daughter and wonderful husband and I was overwhelmed with the spirit. I kept looking at Remi and thinking "She was JUST barely in the presence of our Father in Heaven. She was just there with him! She is so special, I can't believe I get to be her mother!"

 The spirit also testified to me that we are not all here by chance. 

Our Heavenly Father has a plan. He knows each of us individually, he knows what we need and what we can accomplish. I am so thankful for eternal families and knowing that even though some of us may stray for a while and loose our way, there is ALWAYS a way back to him.

He is not a mean God, but a loving and caring God that only wants us to come back to him because he LOVES us. His love is so pure and kind. 

I am so thankful to have the technology that we have so that we can watch and listen to conference where ever we may be.

Remi was so cute during it. She sat on the floor and played toys and occasionally looked up and listened very intently to the speakers on the TV. The cutest part was when we all sang the songs and she just sang right a long with us! I know that she can feel the spirit that conference brought in to our home just like we did.

I am excited for the Ensign to come out with all of the talks. 

Last conference I did very well at studying almost all of the talks when the Ensign came out.

I hope to do even better this time, and improve my life every day!

After the last session, we decided to go on a drive!

It was so beautiful and we saw a lot of animals! It is fun having my new camera to get some great shots of all of them!

Eli and I have decided that when the weather is nice, to try and go for a little hike or walk every Sunday with our kids and enjoy this beautiful land that we live in!

We drove down this lane and saw probably 30 deer and 2 moose!! 

When we started the truck again to head home..,it was dead!

Luckily there was a nice farmer to jump us!

We all met at me Grandma's to hear my bestest cousin and friend in the whole wide world open her mission call.

She is going to Paraguay!!!! 

And she leaves on February 14th!

I will miss her so much, but Car is going to be an amazing missionary.

And last but not least, Remi and her daddy just hanging out, having fun!!

A few weeks ago, our friends Josh and Katie invited us to go on a date to IJUMP and Pizza Pie Cafe.

Here is us right before we left for our date! 

Remi was too busy looking at Barney lol.

We had so much fun. Ijump is AWESOME! We played dodge ball on the trampolines that went clear up the wall and did lots and lots of flips and tricks into the foam. 

I thought I might not be able to do any back flips since I have had Remi, but it was as easy as I remembered!

This is our cute doggie Barney. He is like my other child. 

I love that she has her daddy's eyes! They are so beautiful. Everything is beautiful about this little girlie! 

Remi's favorite new place to play in. I just put a pillow, blanket, and some toys, and she is occupied for a long time! Pretty nice, I might add! :) Can't even stand how cute she is in her little footie pj's and her bed head! :)

I love how sprawled out she is whenever and wherever she is! 

I love just sitting in her room with her, playing toys, gibber jabbing, and smiling with this sweetheart. She makes my days full of business, laughs, tiredness, smiling, love, and happiness. I don't know what my life would be like with out her in it. 

Eli, Remington, and I went to the temple to say hello to my dad. Remi was enjoying Grandpa Mallard's yummy keys.
