2 Months

 Our sweet little girl turned 2 months on the 26th!

These past two months have flown by. I really do wish we could make it slow down a little bit

because I don't want her to grow up anytime soon!

Remington has changed so much in this last month. At her two month check up, she weighed 11 pounds 11 ounces and she was 21 inches. The first thing that the nurse said was "She is really short.." haha yeah, we could've told you that one... : )
She was such a big girl when she got her shots! She only cried hard right after, and she slept most of the day.
The next day, she was just fine! I will admit that I teared up a little bit when she got them.

The doctor said that she is perfect!

Oh and she is!

This month, Remington has been interacting with us a lot.

She is starting to smile at us every time that we talk to her.

She is even starting to coo at us.

Every time that she sees barney, her eyes get so big and she starts to smile.

It is really cute!

She is getting good at moving her head and following objects.

She can hold it up so well!

This past month, she has also learned what her hands are.

We got her some toys that she can lay under, and she is getting so good at hitting them.

Her very favorite is this monkey that I got her. She absolutely loves it, and she could stare at it for ever!

She likes to suck on her entire fist, but a couple of times I have caught her with her 

thumb in her mouth...I will admit it was SUPER cute! BUT I don't exactly want to have to

break that habit when she is older ha.

Also, this was her first pony tail in her hair! I probably could've done it when she as first born though!

Remi has kind of started to get on a sleep schedule.

She will sleep for about 6 hours at night only waking up once to eat.
I switched to formula when she was about 7 weeks... :(
It has been really good though, and she eats about 3-4 ounces. 
She LOVES her milk!!

She is such a happy girl and enjoys just hanging out with me, listening to music,

looking at her toys, and cuddling with me!

We are so blessed to have her in our family.

Rigby Lake

We took Remington to Rigby Lake for her first time last week.

We met Sharla and her boys there.

It was SO hot and there were so many people there. 

We had a couple of big umbrellas that we propped up over her stroller and she just relaxed and took a nap.

I finally got to put her in her little swim suit! 

Me and Eli had fun playing in the water, and making sand castles!

We stopped at Wendy's on the way home and we all crashed and took a nap when we got home.

Don't mind mine and Eli's AWESOME tan lines. I know, they are beautiful!

Happy Father's Day!

Our one year anniversary also happened to be Eli's first Father's Day as a dad.

Me and Remi gave this to him.

Happy One Year to Us!

On JUNE 17th,  we celebrated our ONE YEAR anniversary!! 

I can't believe how much has happened this past year! 

We were married at 10:30 am in the Idaho Falls Temple.

What an amazing day it was for me and my sweetheart. 

I will always remember driving home from the temple after we were married, and 

I just kept thinking to myself..."This cannot be real! This is too good to be true!"

Anyways, I love this man more than he knows it. 

He is so much fun to be around. He can always make me laugh.

 Even if I am upset (which is pretty talented ha ha!)

I can talk to him about anything and everything! We know each other

 better than we know ourselves sometimes.

I really enjoy all or our long talks about hopes and dreams for the future. 

He is such an amazing dad to Remington! He works SO SO hard for our family and 

supports and provides for us in every way possible. 

I am so thankfule every single day that I waited for this amazing man, and that

we were able to be sealed as a family for eternity.

I look forward to many MANY more years with my sweet hubby and best friend!

We asked Sharla if she would be willing to babysit while we went out and had some fun!

We started the night off by going out to Big Judd's for a delicious hamburger. 

We had the best time just talking and laughing on our drive out. I love how much I laugh

when I am around this boy!

We finished our meal by getting some ice cream.

 I got bubblegum, and Eli got caramel caribou.

On the way back to IF, I dripped ice cream allll over

 my clothes and we sang and danced to music. :)

We ended the night by going bowling!

Of course, Eli beat me...but only by a little! ;)

It's funny because Hillcrest class of '02 was having their reunion.

They had the lights off, and music blaring while we bowled.

I am glad the guy let us slip onto an open lane!! 

And btw...I got a strike!

But then Eli had to go right after me and get one as well. 

Stole the thunder!!!

I had such a BLAST with my honey!!! 

I am so glad we were able to go out and spend some quality time with each other.

Monday was Eli's day off, and so we decided to have my mom watch Remi and go out on a date!

We first went to Pizza Pie Cafe. Yum!!

I was able to eat so much more since I wasn't prego ;)

We had fun just talking about life and enjoying each other's company.

Afterwards we drove up to Iona Hill and I got to shoot my 22 that Eli got me for Mother's Day!

We had so Much fun, and it was such a nice day!

So glad I got to spend some time with this HOTTIE! :)

Remington's Blessing Day

On June 3rd we were able to bless our sweet little girl. 

She was actually blessed in the same church that I was, so that was pretty neat!

I am so thankful for the sweet and powerful blessing that Eli gave to her.

I am so glad that we have a worthy priesthood holder in our home!

We had yummy food and good company afterwards!
